Panther Valley Junior/Senior High School students could win a free turkey, or an opportunity to bowl a frozen one, in a Thanksgiving essay contest put on by the school's PTO. The contest is open to all students at the Junior/Senior High School. Entries must be submitted to the student's homeroom teacher on Monday.

The topic is "What are YOU thankful for?"Students who submit a one-page essay on the topic will be eligible to win one of several prizes.Prizes include a free turkey and a chance to participate in the school's first-ever Turkey Bowling event next week.
