David Foster, Lehighton, R.D., today was appointed to a vacancy on the Carbon County Airport Authority.

He was named by the county commissioners, with Ralph E. Mooney initiating the motion, with Commissioner Thomas A. Zimmerman adding the second. Commissioner James Walker, chairman, made the vote unanimous.Foster, a licensed pilot and ground instructor and employee of the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company, will complete the unexpired term of Edgar Allen Poe, Lehighton banker, who resigned recently.
