The second annual St. John XXIII Parish picnic will be held from 5-10 p.m. July 31 at the West Penn Community park in New Ringgold. The park is located off Route 309, north of Snyders.

Organizers promise something for everyone, from live music, food, games and drinks to a horse-drawn carriage.Tickets will be available after all Masses during July, or by stopping in at the parish center, 266 W. Broad St.The event will be held rain or shine.
