A Thrivent Financial gas card roundup to benefit the Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund will be held Oct. 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Split Rock Golf Club.

Golfers will be given a discounted rate for 9 or 18 holes throughout the day. Donations to the Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund's gas card program will enter players into various games and raffles. The program provides gas gift cards to families needing help offsetting the increasing costs related to ongoing medical travel.The 22-year-old Hankee, a Northwestern Lehigh High School graduate, collapsed in a New York City gym in September 2007 and died a few days later.This event is led by a member of Thrivent Financial who is served by Joshua Koch."This is an awesome way to help raise funds for a great cause" said Koch, a Financial Associate with Thrivent Financial. "We're proud to be able to serve our community and are grateful for Thrivent's support."
