A biker was seriously injured Sunday evening when involved in a crash along Valley Road just west of Mountain Road in Walker Township.

The crash occurred around 6: 30 p.m. as a group of bikers were traveling west. The victim failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway entering a grassy berm then back out onto the roadway.

The older-aged man was treated at the scene by members of the New Ringgold ambulance and Pottsville paramedics before being flown by MedEvac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center.

State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
