The LIFE Worship Committee of Lehighton announced that baccalaureate services for the Lehighton Area High School Graduation Class of 2014 will be held at Zion United Church of Christ, Second and Iron streets, at 6:30 p.m. today.

Baccalaureate is defined as a farewell address in the form of a sermon delivered to a graduating class.The entire liturgical content for the service, including prayers and scripture readings, has been created by members of the graduation class.The Lehighton High School Concert Choir, under the direction of David Perkins, will perform during the service.In addition, several members of the graduation class will share their musical talents with their classmates.The public is invited to attend this service.Doors will open at 6 p.m.
