The Sunday School of St. John's Lutheran Church, South Avenue, will hold a Palm Sunday breakfast at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, in the fellowship hall of the church. All members of the congregation and Sunday School are invited to attend.The children will be making a special Easter craft that day and there will be an Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday. The Palm Sunday worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m.The church will hold an Easter vigil worship service at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 19. Following the service there will be a traditional Easter ham dinner with all the trimmings in the fellowship hall. Sign ups are a must and the deadline for reservations will be Palm Sunday, April 13. Sign up sheets are in the back of the church.Class of 1964Members of the 1964 class of Jim Thorpe High School will meet at noon Wednesday, April 16, at the Mahoning Valley Country Club. Events for the day will include an egg hunt, Easter bunny cake display and the monthly game.Ed Solomon, reunion chairman, would like all committee members to meet that day at 11 a.m.
