Mother Nature blessed Jim Thorpe's annual WinterFest celebration Saturday and Sunday, with plenty of snow and freezing temperatures.

While much of the historic section of town participated, many of the activities were centralized at Josiah White Park located at the old Mauch Chunk Train Station and visitor's center.Activities included ice and wood carving, Civil War reenactors, a mug walk, magic show and entertainment at the Mauch Chunk Opera House.
