Allison E. Taran, 29, of Hughesville, was stopped by Rush Township Police at 3:15 p.m. on Aug. 30 for a traffic violation. Officers detected possible signs of intoxication and transported her to the Schuylkill Medical Center-South for blood tests. The test results indicate she had a blood-alcohol content of .288 percent, more than three times the legal limit of .08.

She will be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and several traffic violations.
