Nesquehoning arrests reported

Nesquehoning police reported on the following arrests made by officers.

On July 6 Officer Dane O'Brian and Steven Homanko conducted a welfare check of a female along SR209. She was identified as Ilonka Ortiz Rimentel, of Staten Island, N.Y.She was found to be intoxicated and became belligerent with the officers. She was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.On July 14 Officer Timothy Wuttke issued the following citations: Pedro Enrique De Jesus Martinez, Allentown, cited for going 99.4 miles-per-hour in a 55 zone and driving a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker on SR93; Michael Martin, Emmaus, cited for going 110 mph in a 55 zone, careless driving, reckless driving, and driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed, along SR93, He was operating a motorcycle, police noted; Brennan Martin, Emmaus, was cited for careless driving, reckless driving, and driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed, a motorcycle, along SR93.On July 19 officers O'Brien and Homanko were dispatched to the unit block of W. Columbus Avenue for persons soliciting for an energy company. The officers made contact with the individuals, who were identified as Keith Savage, of Darby, Delaware County. Savage had an acrtive bench warrant out of Delaware County for corrupting the morals of a minor and was taken into custody and placed in the county prison pending extradition to Delaware County.
