The 6th annual Polka for Pets will be held this Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. in the Lehighton Community Grove on South 7th Street.

The annual event serves to bring together pets of many kinds who need homes and are available for adoption.The Pennsylvania Villagers polka band will perform from 2-5 p.m.There will also be vendors on site offering pet services and treats, a Chinese auction, refreshments, pet microchipping, spay/neuter applications and many dogs and cats in need of loving forever homes.The event will be held rain or shine.
