Advanced Green Solutions Inc. will host an electronic and universal waste recycling event at the Tamaqua Transfer and Recycling Station, 20 Sewer Plant Rd., Tamaqua. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on May 18.

Residents and small businesses are welcome to take their old, used electronics and universal waste to the station, free of charge. Those items include" telephones, cell phones, keyboards, cables, cords, stereos, speakers, printers, fax machines, dvd players, VCRs, game systems, desktop/laptop computers, televisions, floor copiers, CRT monitors, miscellaneous electronics, hard drives, LCD monitors, word processors, etc.These items will then be recycled.For more information, contact Tamaqua Transfer at (570) 668-4515.
