Pocono Mountain Regional Police arrested a Mount Pocono man for violating a Protection From Abuse order that exists against him in Monroe County Court.

The arrest came after police were summoned to 33 Mountain Drive in Mount Pocono at 5:50 p.m. April 15.Police said after being called to a domestic disturbance they were informed by a Susan J. Randeau, also of Mount Pocono, that her boyfriend, Danny E. Shearer Jr., had been harassing and threatening her.After learning that Randeau was a protected person by the court order against Shearer, police took him into custody for violating the order. He was committed to the Monroe County Correctional facility, Snydersville.
