A Chester County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Heather Dawn Weigner, 32, of Coatesville, was stopped about 3 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, along SR940 in Pocono Pines, for a vehicle code violation.At the stop Weigner was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. She was taken into custody and transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results, police noted.
