Storyteller Kathy Long visited Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Homes and shared some of her favorite stories with the residents. Here she told a story from Finland, "A Noodlehead Story." Resident Sunny Jackson played the part of "The Rock." The story ends with a boy, whose mother called him a Noodlehead, finding a treasure under a rock. Long opened the treasure chest and said she kept some of her treasures inside. Her treasures are her stories. She showed different objects inside the chest and for every object, she has a story. "Story material can come from anything," says Long. She encourages everyone to journal, to write and preserve our stories for future generations.
