Seek gun forfeiture

A petition was filed in the county court by District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon seeking a court order for destruction of a 9mm model handgun which was confiscated by Trooper Melissa Kyper from Dillon Patrick Fogarty, of Shenandoah, after a drive-by shooting in Barnesville, Ryan Township, Jan. 16, 2012.The petition states two shots were fired from a moving vehicle which struck the home of Christopher Jadosh, 221 Church St., Barnesville, Ryan Township.One bullet went through a double panel glass window and another bullet entered the home through the extended vinyl siding. No one was injured.Fogarty pleaded guilty on Nov. 14, 2012, and is currently serving a sentence of 30 to 60 months in a state correctional facility.
