Barnesville woman facing DUI count

A Barnesville woman and her passenger escaped injury in a one-vehicle accident in Rush Township on Sunday.

Colleen Riley, 52, of Barnesville, was operating a Mazda convertible on Fairview Street, in the area of Marian Avenue, at 7:10 p.m., when she lost control of her vehicle. The Mazda sustained significant damage and was towed from the scene.

Riley, who exhibited signs of intoxication, was transported to the hospital for blood tests.

A drunk driving charge is pending the results of those tests.
