A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) and other counts following an incident that occurred about 11:37 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said troopers responded to Calvary Cemetery, located along Cressona Road, in North Manheim Townshihp, to a report of a suspicious vehicle. On scene the vehicle was located and was being driven by Paula Marberger, 42, of Pottsville.

She showed signs of being under the influence and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. After being taken into custody troopers found multiple prescription drugs and other types of drug paraphernalia. It was also learned that Marberger had an active warrant for her arrest issued out of the county court for other offenses.

She was transported to a Pottsville area hospital for a blood test. She was then committed to the county prison on the active warrant.

Charges will be filed, troopers added.
