Slatington Woman's Club has named Courtney Blocker as November's Girl of the Month.

Courtney, a senior at Northern Lehigh Area High School, is the Student Council treasurer, Class of 2013 vice president, yearbook editor, Interact president, Library Club vice president, Concert Choir president, a member of National Honor Society, SADD, concert band, Women's Choir, Show Choir, varsity cheering captain, musical and a Rotary observer.She has been a People to People ambassador and a Freddy nominee for featured dancer.She is a member of her church choir and dances at Studio 5678 in Coplay.She plans to go to college and major in chemistry after graduation.Courtney is the daughter of Robert Blocker of Lehighton and Robin (Frey) Blocker of Fogelsville. She has a younger sister, Rebecca Blocker, 14.
