Break-ins, theft incidents probed

State police at Lehighton reported on two burglaries and theft incidents probed by troopers.

Troopers said the Torco Supply Company property in East Penn Township, Carbon County, was entered sometime between 3 p.m. Nov. 5 and 9 a.m. on Nov. 6. Removed was a welding machine and tools.The residence located at 2115 Upper Smith Gap Road, in Saylorsburg, Monroe County, was entered sometime between Nov. 3-5. Removed was multiple Bostitch, Mikita, and Dewalt tools, and a Yamaha generator. The stolen items are the property of Larry Charles Stametz, of Wind Gap, troopers said.Jose Terruto, of Affordable Concrete, reported a glass/steel front door was removed from a Bobcat front loader which was located along SR209 in Franklin Township. The incident occurred sometime between Nov. 2 and 7.Troopers are investigating a criminal mischief incident. Unknown criminals damaged the front window of the Koehler-Marvin Realty building located at 7635 Interchange Road, in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, sometime between Nov. 3-5. A BB gun was used to cause an estimated $250 in damages. The listed victim is James Fritzinger, 51, of Kunkletown.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
