The members of the Nesquehoning Woman's Club welcomed "Sy and I" as the monthly entertainment to their meeting for the month of October. Judy Greg introduced her friend Sy and they performed several musical duets for the club. The group voted to participate in the Jim Thorpe Lioness's Fashion Show in the spring. The next executive board will be held at the home of Pat Sasserath on Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. The regular meeting is scheduled for Nov. 5 with Joseph Paluck. Reservations are being accepted by Jane Pietruch for the Christmas dinner at DiMaggio's in Tamaqua on Dec. 3. Car pooling will be available.
