They were married Oct. 2, 1993.Drug caseEmery Allan Ochs, 32, Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman James P. Englert, with possession of drug paraphernalia, was sentenced by Judge James P. Goodman to serve 12 months on probation, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Eduction fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, and a $50 monthly supervision fee. The sentence is to run concurrent with a sentence of five years probation he is serving for a driving under the influence (DUI) charge.Dismiss appealThe appeal of John Mays. 113 N. White St., Shenandoah, was sustained by Judge John E. Domalakes and the citation against him was dismissed as he is now complying with the Shenandoah Borough Ordinance.He was charged with violating the ordinance by failing to raze an empty constructure at 412-414 E. Arlington St., which the borough ruled was unsafe.Bail hearingsThe bail of Dillon Friendly, 18,of 561 N. Church St., Hazleton, was revoked by Judge Domalakes because of a second arrest and he was remanded to the county prison to await further court proceeding.He faces charges brought by McAdoo Patrolman Robert Minnick, last Jan. 19 with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in the borough. While on bail he was again arrested last March 7 by Rush Township Patrolman Adam Sinton, on a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol on Williams Street in Barnesville.Gerald Graham, W. 11th Street, Hazleton, had his motion for reducing his bail from $100,000 straight cash to $500 percentage cash bail was denied by Judge Domalakes. He was arrested last July 2 by McAdoo Patrolman William Curilla, on South Kennedy Drive and was charged with carrying a firearm without having a license, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing to avoid arrest, and disorderly conduct.
