ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Even though it only lasted about 10 minutes, Saturday's rainstorm wreaked havoc on many area communities, blowing over trees and causing widespread power outages. Pictured is a large tree that fell over SR54 between Lansford and Nesquehoning. Firefighters and police closed SR54 for the cleanup. The tree knocked down power and utility lines, although it wasn't the cause of the two-hour power outage in the area.
