Talent Show held at Towamensing

Towamensing Elementary School is filled with talented students. To showcase some of that talent, it holds a talent show every two years. May 7 was the seventh talent show and it featured 34 acts, ranging from singers, guitarist, martial arts demonstrations, ballet, gymnastics demonstration and comedians.

Avery Neipert and Jasmyn Romanishan were the night's delightful emcees, Abigail Huber and Colby Moyer handled the sound system and Gabriella Sabina was the stage manager. Thanks to advisers Mrs. Jodi Kocher and Ms. Stacey Olewine, the talent show was deemed a success and one can only wonder if someday one of these talented young people will be featured on "American Idol" and have their names in lights.

LINDA KOEHLER/TIMES NEWS Mrs. Christine Steigerwalt, the principal at Towamensing Elementary, wowed the audience with her amazing scarf juggling to The "William Tell Overture" by Gioachino Rossini.
