State police at Frackville reported investigating a two vehicle crash about 4:55 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, along SR924 at the entrance to the Vito Rinaldi auto dealership in Mahanoy Township, just outside Shenandoah.

Troopers said Delano Newcomb, 23, of Saint Marys, Ga., was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu and was attempting to make a left turn from a lot at the dealership and pulled into the path of a 1994 Subaru Impreza driven northbound by Donna Palubinsky, 54, of Ringtown.Palubinsky was injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Norwegian St., Pottsville, for treatment. Newcomb refused medical treatment, troopers said.
