Tamaqua's coal pockets buzzed with activity Saturday night as The Reading Off-Road Riders (RORR) held their annual night-time Dash for Cash Motorcycle Challenge.
Hundreds of fans watched in Newkirk, just outside Tamaqua on SR-209, as experienced riders mastered the 60-degree slopes, logs, sharp turns and riding at night.Andrew DeLong of Morgantown was the AA Class winner, while Chris Epting of Hamburg won in Class AA, and Jason Thompson of Tamaqua won in Class B.
