A Bally woman has been cited after she refused to pick up her trash in Tamaqua the day after Christmas.

Jennifer L. Unercoffler, 19, of Bally, was a passenger in a 2000 Chevy that stopped at the drive through window at Burger King on Center Street, shortly before 11 a.m. A restaurant employee saw Unercoffler open the passenger side window and throw a Pepsi can to the ground. The employee asked Unercoffler to pick up her trash. The woman opened the passenger side door and pretended to pick up the can, which was visible after the car pulled away. The employee provided police with a description of the car and passenger, as well as a license plate number.Police were able to track Unercoffler through the information provided.
