State police at the Fogelsville barracks are investigating an incident where an object thrown at a moving truck resulted in its windshield being smashed.

The incident happened at 10:01 p.m. Wednesday when Richard Lawson Matthias Jr., 21, of Hideaway Drive, New Tripoli, was driving north on Gun Club Road in Lynn Township.Police said someone in a vehicle that was southbound threw the unknown object at his 1992 Chevrolet Silverado truck. The object struck the windshield as the vehicle fled the scene. Damages are estimated at $150.
