State police at Lehighton are investigating a tree cutting incident in Monroe County.

Troopers said someone entered the property of Michael Deluzio, 50, of Hill Dr. and Grassy Lane, in Kresgeville, Polk Township, and cut down 49 trees and numerous shrubs. The incident was reported at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 29.
