When the Miller-Keystone Blood Center visited St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford, on June 14 for one of the three annual visits sponsored by the church, parishioner John Karnish was recognized for his contributions to humanity. John has been organizing the blood drives at St. Katherine's since October 2008 and has been donating blood since the 1960s. During the recent visit, bloodmobile personnel and church members celebrated with John after his donation of his 101st unit of blood.
