Art of Caring window display

The Tamaqua Lions LEO Club placed an Art of Caring window display at the store front of 22 West Broad St. Matt Jones, property owner, donated his window store front for the display. People can sponsor artwork shown in the window, which are smaller copies of the actual artwork being displayed in the St Luke's Hospital's corridors. The St Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital in Coaldale benefits from these sponsored art works via their endowment fund. The Tamaqua LEO Club's Art of Caring has made more than 100 pieces of framed artwork throughout the hospital available for sponsorship by community organizations and individuals. The sponsor's name will be placed with each artwork in the hospital. For more information, call LEO Club chief advisor Sue Dolan at (570) 668-1134.
