Radio station WYNS in Lehighton held an open house for the public today, hosted by Frank Cook, station manager. The station will begin broadcasting on a regular schedule on 1150 kilo-cycles within the next few days, pending final approval from the Federal Communications Commission. "We expect to fill an entertainment need in the area," Cook said, "and will will broadcast music, the latest news, and weather reports from sunrise to sunset."
