LEO Club gives gifts to St Luke's seniors

The Tamaqua Lions Club LEO Club visited the Geriatric Residents at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital Thursday during American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days. They purchased and delivered a daffodil to 45 of the senior residents at the hospital. They also handmade foam crosses to give to all the seniors. The members took turns visiting residents, taking time to chat with each of them. They even got to sing Happy Birthday" to residents Kitty and Ed.
