Proposed improvements to Girl Scout Camp Mosey Wood are one step closer to becoming a reality.

During the Carbon County Planning Commission meeting on Tuesday, the board voted to recommend conditional plan approval for the proposed land development at Camp Mosey Wood in Kidder Township.Plans call for the construction of a 5,450-square-foot lodge building, replacing an existing change house, and building an 872-linear-foot zip line over Mosey Wood Pond, as well as towers, an access road and a challenge course associated with the proposed zip line.Ivan O.
