A Luzerne County driver is facing charges following a vehicle stop in Monroe County.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers on patrol stopped a vehicle for an inspection violation along SR940 at SR423, in Pocono Pines.
The driver was identified as John Hamilton, 50, of Wilkes-Barre. A check revealed that Hamilton possesses a license that requires him to operate a vehicle that is equipped with a ignition interlock device. His vehicle did not have the device.
He was charged with that violation and the inspection sticker violation, police said.
