The Tamaqua boys and girls both posted wins over Lincoln Leadership Academy on Thursday.
In other action, the Jim Thorpe and Panther Valley girls both dropped Schuylkill League games.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Tamaqua-Lincoln LA
Brett Kosciolek scored a game-high 22 points and Tamaqua hit a season-high nine three-pointers to help earn a 58-52 non-league win over Lincoln Leadership Academy.
The Blue Raiders (12-7) also received 14 points from Zach Wargula and 10 from Tyler Krell.
Jean Pierre D'Meza paced the Lions with 12 points.
In the JV game, Tamaqua gained a 46-31 win.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Amanda Solt scored 12 points and pulled down six rebounds to help Tamaqua gain a 56-24 non-league win over Lincoln Leadership Academy.
The Lady Raiders (12-6), who jumped out to a 20-5 lead, also received eight points from both Christine Streisel and Jaclin Valasek.
Sophia Gordon tallied a game-high 13 points for the Lions.
In the JV game, Tamaqua posted a 34-22 win as Allison Pedersen scored 10 points.

The Blue Eagles' Corinne Foster scored a game-high 12 points.
Alyssa Rusbarsky paced the Olympians with seven points.
The loss dropped Jim Thorpe to 1-17 overall and 0-9 in the league.

Pine Grove jumped out to an early lead and then coasted to a 65-28 Schuylkill League win over Panther Valley.
The Cardinals, who had a 19-4 advantage at the end of the first quarter, received a game-high 21 points from Becky Evans. Samantha Bertsavage contributed 14 points to the win while Steffi Sampson chipped in with 10.
The Panthers' Sam Zlock finished with a team-high 11 points.
PV drops to 11-9 overall and 3-7 in the league.
In the JV game, Pine Grove cruised to a 47-16 victory. Macy Markovich paced the Panthers with six points.
