Samantha Bowman, back-left, a culinary arts student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Punxsutawney, Pa., was a returned guest of Cadette Troop 3510, Lehighton, where she addressed the troop members. A former Girl Scout, Dean's List student and 2011 Lehighton Area High School graduate, Samantha gave the girls a power point presentation about the culinary arts curriculum; reviewed with them college textbooks and school binders; showed the makeup of her knife kit, explaining each tool's name and use; and carved apples into the shapes of a bird, giving one to each girl to take home.
