Gently used Tamaqua Area school uniforms, backpacks and new school supplies for the 2012-2013 school year will be distributed free of charge Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. The project is a joint effort of all Tamaqua area congregations. Because of the current economic difficulties, the project's goal is to ease the burden of having area children properly dressed for school.
