West Penn officials set jobs, wages

West Penn Township officials reorganized on Monday:

*Alfonso Martinez is chairman with David Zeigler as vice chair.*Karen Wittig remains as treasurer at a salary of $17,821.*Susan K. Gibiser remains as secretary to the board at $11.85 an hour. She will also serve as meeting/recording secretary and as meeting/recording secretary for the planning commission, all at $11.85 an hour.*Jeremy Frable remains as road crew leader at $17.20 an hour.*Brian Johnson remains as police chief at $42,806.40. Jason Lorah and Melissa Johnson were retained as full-time police officers at $18.43 an hour; John Kaczmarczyk was retained as a part-time police officer at $14.50 an hour; Dale Osenbach was retained as a part-time police officer at $13.50 an hour. All other part time patrolmen/ officers will receive $14 an hour.*Herb Woodring remains as office clerk at $11.85 an hour.*Gretchen Sterns remains as solicitor for the board of supervisors and for the planning commission at $100 an hour with a $200 retainer.*Holly Heintzelman remains as zoning hearing board solicitor at $95 an hour.*Rettew Engineering will remain as township engineers at $112.50 an hour.*Lehigh Engineering will remain as Uniform Construction Code engineers at $67 an hour.*William Brior/Bruce Dobash remain as sewer enforcement officers at fee schedules to be set.*Harry Barron was retained as code enforcement officer at $4,000.*Larry Faust and John Garber were retained as equipment operators at $16.10 an hour.*Joseph Fritz, Dale Faust, Troy Hartman and James Balliet were retained as driver/laborers at $14.75 an hour; all other part time road workers/plow drivers will receive $14.27 an hour.*Sandra Fritz will do cleaning for $10 an hour.*Tina Hoppes and Kyle Hoppes will do grounds maintenance at $10 an hour.
