Amanda Scott weds Alan Wehr

Amanda Nicole Scott, daughter of Thomas and Susan Scott, Palmerton, became the bride of Alan James Wehr, son of Mark and Julie Wehr, Slatington, on May 15, 2010, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Slatington. The Rev. Russell F. Haab officiated the double ring ceremony. Joanne Perich was the organist; and the bride's brother, Thomas Scott Jr., Palmerton, was the greeter.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose her cousin, Amber Crepezzi, Palmerton, as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Scott, Jessup, Md., cousin of the bride; and Lisa Saluta, Catasauqua.Matthew Wehr, Allentown, the brother of the bridegroom, served as the best man. Ushers were Tony Hartzell and Timothy Ganzer, both of Bethlehem.Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at Emerald Banquet Hall, Emerald. They honeymooned in Disney World.The new Mrs. Wehr is a 2005 graduate of Palmerton Area High School and a 2007 graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College. She is employed by Manpower.Mr. Wehr is a 2003 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School and is employed by Boas Surgical Supply in Allentown.The couple resides in Allentown.
