Figas Contracting of Weatherly recently captured the interleague championship by defeating Merrick's of Hazle Township, 9 -7, in the championship game held in Freeland. Winning pitcher Luke Figas recorded 10 strikeouts and helped his team at the plate with two doubles. Dillon Bizarre hit two home runs and a triple in the title game. Lou Mastroddi added two hits, one a double, and Robbie Hinkle also had two hits.
