Tiffany Lilly, the daughter of Kevin and Donna Lilly of Lehighton, has been named the recipient of the Times News Outstanding Journalism Student Award for 2010.

As part of her accolade, the recent Lehighton Area High School graduate was awarded $100, which she plans on putting towards her college fees. In the fall, she will be attending Penn State University at Berks County, where she will major in professional writing."I'm passionate about writing and anything that goes with it," Lilly said. "This award will really help me reach my goals."In the future, Lilly hopes to pursue a career in journalism, either at a newspaper or magazine.
