The Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16 of Slatington recently honored several members with 50 and 60 year certificates. Pictured are (l-r) post commander George Burke, member James J. McCutcheon (64 years), and 14th district commander Mark Queen. McCutcheon, who now resides in Walnutport, received his certificate for his 64 years as a member of the Frazier Barnitz Parkwood Post 855 in Philadelphia. Other legion members that received certificates but did not attend the ceremony were Clayton A. Miller (60 years) of Walnutport, and Claude F. Shelly (50 years) of Walnutport.
