Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Steigerwalt

Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Steigerwalt, Lehighton, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

They were married on Sept. 16, 1950 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Palmerton by the late Rev. George McKinley.

Mrs. Steigerwalt is the former Viola Bowman, daughter of the late Victor and Celia Bowman of Bowmanstown.

Her husband is the son of the late Walter and Velma Steigerwalt of Lehighton.

The second reunion of the One Room Elementary Schools in Franklin Township will be held Oct. 2, at the Franklin Township Fire Co., Fairyland Road, Franklin Township.

Mr. and Mrs. George Huber

George and Diane Huber recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 15 at St. Matthew's UCC, Kunkletown. The Revs. Warren Beeman and Leon Zinkler officiated. Terrie Murphy Mahala was the maid of honor and Bruce Young was the best man. They honeymooned in Maui.

Diane is the daughter of Janet and the late Robert R. Smith of Kunkletown.

Mr. Huber is the son of Roberta and the late James Burgess of Throckmorton, Texas.

Phineas Alexander Benyo

A son, Phineas Alexander Benyo, was born on Aug. 27, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, to Tara and Tim Benyo of Breinigsville.

He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measured 19.5 inches in length.

Maternal grandparents are Liz and Ken Haug and Karen and Mike Takacs, all of Bethlehem.

Paternal grandparents are Darlene and Andrew Benyo, Jim Thorpe.

Paternal great-grandparents are Dorothy and the late Shorty Benyo, and the late Pauline and Corky Witt, all of Jim Thorpe.

Mr. and Mrs. James David Kravelk

Nesquehoning Recreation Center was the setting for the June 19 wedding of Donna Marie Katz and James David Kravelk of Nesquehoning. The double ring ceremony was officiated by District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek, and Robyn Hill was the organist.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Charles A. Jackson III of Burke, Va. Her daughter, Christine Duddek of Pittston, was the maid of honor. The bride's sister, Mary Gaftney of Toms River, N.J., was the bridesmaid.
