Several people escaped serious injury Friday morning when involved in a crash along a very slippery Route 209 in Summit Hill. The crash occurred near Knepper's trailer court at 7:30 a.m. Two cars were involved in the crash both traveling north between Lansford and Nesquehoning. Fire fighters were hampered responding to the scene as well as walking on the ice covered roadway due to black ice.
