Earns teaching achievement

Allison Fredericks, formerly of Lansford, has been named as one of the highest impact teachers in Florida by the Florida Department of Education.

She received notice of the achievement, which was based on an analysis of her former students' performance on statewide standardized assessments and the impact she had on student growth.Fredericks is the former Allison Collevechio. She and her husband, Matthew, currently live in Jupiter, Florida.Fredericks is a 2002 graduate of Panther Valley High School and a 2006 graduate of Kutztown University.Following graduation, she has taught sixth-grade math at Anderson Middle School in the Martin County Schools, as well as Independence Middle School in the Palm Beach County Schools.She is the daughter of Gwyneth and Kevin Collevechio of Lansford.
