Panther Valley School Board made the following personnel changes at the July 19 meeting.

Board members accepted the resignation of six faculty and staff members.Full-time teachers Bronwyn Cseh, Barron-Lynne George, Thomas Hartmanand John Smulowitz all submitted their resignation effective the end of the 2016-17 school year.School psychologist Lauren Yerkes will leave the district as of Aug. 18. Jo Lynn Gazo resigned as extended school year teacher, effective July 17.Bookkeeper Lisa Georgis changed her resignation date to June 30 from June 23.Kergick said that resignations are part of the end of a school year, and the district will fill the full-time teaching positions."That's just a fact of life. People go and they find somewhere else to work. We respect that. We hate to see them leave," he said.They also voted to appoint Jeanine Snyder as a part-time accounts receivable/tax clerk in the business office, effective July 25, at a salary of $12.25 per hour.They voted to retain Robert Yurchak as school district solicitor at a cost of $7,750 per year and an hourly rate of $100 per hour for work done outside of meetings.
