Carbon Career & Technical Institute's Joint Operating Committee approved six substitute positions this week.

• Alice Berger was approved as a chaperon/volunteer, with no compensation.• Christopher Gallagher and Brianna McMichael were approved as teachers for a daily rate of $90, with an eventual increase to $95, and instructional aides at a daily rate of $85.• Justin Juegel and Maura Makuta were approved as teachers for a daily rate of $90, with an eventual increase to $95, instructional aides at a daily rate of $85, and tutors at a rate of $30 per hour.• Anthony Radocha was approved as a custodial/maintenance/groundskeeper/cleaner, at a rate of $10.50 per hour.
