Workers are adding the final touches to the two bridges that carry the northeast extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike over the Pohopoco Creek and Route 209 as well as Pohopoco Drive in Franklin Township. The two superstructures were virtually rebuilt as being a project of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. The bridges were widened and the original spans received major renovation work.
