Author Jeff Davis and illustrator Marybeth Cauley, both of Jim Thorpe, will participate in a free panel discussion and book signing at 7 p.m. March 31 hosted by Penn State Worthington Scranton in the Study Learning Center’s K. Bruce Sherbine Lounge.

Other panelists include authors Dave Hess, Barbara J. Taylor and John J. Zelenski.

Davis is the author of three novels, including “Nesting with the Loons, a satirical novel; “Crude,” a post-apocalyptic thriller about survival in the world after an environmental disaster; and “The 7th Jackal,” which is now available on audiobook from iTunes, Audible and Amazon.

Cauley is owner of Cauley Custom Designs. She worked on the design of Davis’ “Nesting with the Loons” and “The 7th Jackal,” as well as Leo Juarez’s “Kame Poetry.” She also does setup and design in e-book formats, such as Amazon Kindle. She specializes in custom art, specifically book cover design.
